Elena Martinez, Director of Residential Services, is a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor II (CADC-II) who has acquired certifications in Triple P Parenting and Anger Management, with extensive experience in perinatal services, quality assurance, and program development.
After starting her career in 2013 as a substance abuse counselor intern, she steadily advanced by showcasing her competency and ability to excel in building cohesive teams that are dedicated to achieving their shared goals of success and growth.
Her focus is implementing structured programs and supportive environments that enrich the lives of residents and their families to enable each individual struggling with addiction to reunite with their families and lead fulfilling lives.
By establishing these extensive community relationships, she has significantly enhanced the support available to MFI’s residents that lead to impactful results; which is evidently shown by her successfully managing a program that was recognized by Newsweek Magazine: America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers as one of the top 100 programs.
Elena is a firm believer that living our authentic purpose starts with the connection and relationship you have with others and with yourself. Her greatest passion is perpetual kindness and she exhibits that by creating lasting change and empowering individuals on their path to recovery.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring good food, attending concerts, sports events, and comedy shows.
