Jose Martinez is a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CADTP) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and Psychology. He is currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QA/QI) at MFI Recovery, overseeing all areas of compliance.
Jose previously worked at Latino Commission as a Prevention Coordinator, where he managed prevention services. Jose worked for Riverside University Health System’s Quality Assurance department as a Contract Monitor for seven years.
With 16 years of experience in the alcohol and drug counseling field, Jose has held roles in clinical counseling, contract monitoring, and training. His expertise includes assisting criminal offenders, women, and youth.
Jose is a skilled trainer for residential and outpatient programs, covering topics such as assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, CalOMS data collection, and the discharge process. Implementing trainings and completing or reviewing Corrective Action plans.
Jose is knowledgeable in the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.
