Rita Pacheco, Director of Outpatient Services, CADC II-ICADC, NCAC I, has been pivotal in establishing and developing several programs within MFI including the peer support program within residential sites, substance use programs in board and cares, contingency management program in outpatient, outreach program and recovery residence; integrating the recovery residence in the sober living coalition while maintaining that rapport.
She joined the MFI family on June 28, 2012, and advanced through various roles, starting as an on-call counselor and moving up to Lead counselor, Program manager and Outreach manger, ultimately achieving the position of Director of Outpatient Services.
Outside of MFI, she taught drug and alcohol studies at Intercoast College, and has fostered strong relationships within the community and with educational institutions. She has guided numerous interns in achieving their goals of becoming certified alcohol and drug counselors and has a proven track record of building effective teams.
Her passion lies in helping others achieve their recovery goals and embrace a life of total abstinence, while witnessing the reunification of families. She is also dedicated to working with patients facing co-occurring disorders, providing support and guidance on their journeys to wellness.
Outside of work her pride and joy are her three children; Joey, Breanna and Savannah who saved her own life. Without them she wouldn’t be the women she is today.
